The Perkins 4154 is a diesel engine manufactured by Perkins Engine Company Limited. It is designed for marine applications, as well as construction, industry, agricultural, genset, and handling applications.

The 4154 has four cylinders and is rated at 62 horsepower at full rpm. At full throttle, the 4154 provides 62 horsepower, but power decreases as the boat's speed drops below that. For example, at 7.5 knots, the 4154 provides 62 horsepower, but only needs 24 horsepower to go 5.5 knots.
